WILI's Wayne Norman with the 2004 and 2007 Boston Red Sox World Series trophies
The 2004 and 2007 Boston Red Sox World Series trophies made a stop at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic on January 28, 2008.  Wearing the Red Sox jersey he was given by the UConn Radio Network in 2004 for broadcasting his 1000th UConn game, and wearing his 2007 World Series championship hat, Wayne is holding his UNUSED ticket to the seventh game of the 2004 World Series in front of the 2004 trophy, and his UNUSED ticket to game six of the 2007 World Series in front of the 2007 trophy.

Terry Francona, manager of the 2004 and 2007 World Series champion Boston Red Sox was the keynote speaker at the 2007 UConn baseball preseason banquet on February 2.  Before his outstanding talk, he talked baseball with WILI's Wayne Norman.  2008 will be WILI's 36th year of broadcasting Boston Red Sox baseball.
