Another reason to heed the "No Swimming" signs at Mansfield Hollow Lake. This photo of a diamondback water snake was taken by Eleanor Linkkila of Hampton while kayaking between the boat launch and the dam. Apparently the snake can't read. These snakes are non-venomous. This snake is about 2-3 feet long.
