These pictures were taken by Debbie Schaffhauser.  Southeast Light, above Mohegan Bluffs  This monument sits atop Mohegan Bluffs  It's 142 wooden steps down to the beach. Some say its 242 steps back up.  The beach below Mohegan Bluffs  There's an artists colony below the bluffs. Some are very creative.  The beach--and the scenery--below the bluffs is spectacular  A wind farm near Southeast Light--the first of it's kind in the country. It's studying how wind currents affect bird migration.
