Each
day, WILI gives its listeners a chance to win a variety of prizes,
including UConn tickets, theater tickets, and other fun things. Also:
The WILI/McDonalds BIRTHDAY CLUB
Each
day of the week, we read a list of local people having birthdays that
day, with one of them being drawn for a free McDonalds meal. On
Saturday, we take all the week's entries and draw for a weekly grand
prize of four McDonalds meals.
To
enter the Birthday Club, simply send the vital information (Don't
forget the birthdate!) to Birthday Club, 720 Main Street, Willimantic,
Ct. 06226, fax it to 456-9501, drop it off in person at our offices, or
email it to wayne @ wili.com. IF you email, be SURE to write BIRTHDAY
CLUB on the subject line. Please get your entry in at least two days
in advance for proper processing.
WINNERS' CERTIFICATES WILL BE MAILED OUT MONTHLY. IF YOU WANT IT BEFORE THEN, STOP BY OUR OFFICE.
Other rules:

One person is
selected from all entrants having a birthday that day. The winner will
receive a certificate good for a meal at McDonalds of Willimantic or
Mansfield.

All winners
and honorable mentions will be announced on the morning show between
7-10 AM Monday thru Saturday. The Sunday Birthday Club is aired at
10:45 AM.

If no specific time is requested, the announcements are usually read Monday-Saturday at 7:15 AM.

Anyone can enter, regardless of age. Listing of the entrant's age is not required.

Only written entries will be accepted. No phone entries.

Only one entry per person.

Winners can
pick up their certificates at WILI Monday thru Friday during regular
office hours. Unclaimed prizes will be mailed to winners.

WILI and McDonalds employees and their families are not eligible to win meals, but their names can still be announced.
